Paris Saint-Germain continued their impressive scoring form with a memorable comeback against Le Havre in the ninth round of Ligue 1, overcoming an early setback to secure control of the match.
PSG found themselves behind in the 18th minute when Josh Maja broke the deadlock for Le Havre. However, the reigning French champions responded with determination, and Mika Godts stepped up to restore parity.
Set up by Achraf Hakimi, the Belgian international calmly found the back of the net to make it 1-1. It was another important moment for the young forward, who had scored just four days earlier. The goal was his second in four days and his second for PSG.
Beyond helping his team get back into the contest, Godts’ strike also secured PSG a place in French football history.
The Parisian club became the first team in Ligue 1 history to score at least 100 goals in official competitions in 15 consecutive years, highlighting their remarkable attacking consistency over the past decade and a half.
PSG wasted little time turning the game around. Just two minutes after Godts’ equaliser, Hakimi completed the comeback with a powerful right-footed finish from close range in the 28th minute.
The Moroccan defender, who had already provided the assist for Godts, proved decisive once again, contributing directly to both goals.
With Godts making his mark and Hakimi delivering another influential performance, PSG demonstrated their attacking quality and determination to respond under pressure. Their historic scoring milestone added even greater significance to an impressive comeback against Le Havre.
